On recommendation of doctor , Gandhij advised Kasturbaa also to take Beef Tea .
Kasurbaa was very sick and doctors treating her recommended Beef tea as beef is good for sick people's health and early recovery . Baa has not taken that but many Hindu patient suffering from TB and other serious sickness are medically advised to take beef meat and tea .
For bone fractures Paya soup is stated to be good for early setting of bones .
Beef is accepted as universal non veg preferred apart from other non veg meat .
It is heard that only during Jain King Soubham ,who killed Parshuram had banned cow meet eating in his state and as a punishment to those cow killing Brahmins , he had penalized them to eat cow dung and drink cow urine as punishment for killing cows in Hamo - Havan which Videshi Brahmins were calling Gomedh , Ashwamedh etc giving bali of these animals in Vedic rituals of Ydhya , Hom etc. The Janeu was also was made of Cow intestines or small aatadi ,which was later on replaced by cotton tread or wool .
